Welcome

Year 6 is extremely excited to have a blog and the opportunity to share our work with a real world-wide audience. However, it’s very important that we keep the blog a safe and secure place to work, so please take a minute to read the guidelines, before exploring the rest of the blog and commenting on our work; we are really looking forward to reading your comments!

What’s on our blog?

The blog contains a wealth of information and work. We use it to showcase the work we are proud of, to set problems and challenges, collect ideas and other things, too. You can see photographs, video clips and audio recordings which all tell you about what we have been up to.

There are also many links to other interesting and useful things on the internet which help us learn. There are so many things there to look at and find out about. Of course, as it’s a blog, you can also comment on anything that you see on there!

  1. Dear Mrs Holmes,
My mum forgot to take me too sports direct, to get a knee support thing for my knee, so unfortunately I cant play the house matches, but I will be cheering everyone on in the sidelines!

  2. Dear Mrs Giles,

My Friend told me that Chess club forms are available. He said go to the secretary but Mrs Wilson told me to go to Mrs Judd. She said that it was on the blog but I can’t find it. I’ve checked the year 4 blog as well but I can’t find it. Can you help?

    Thanks

    • Hi Josh,

If you click on the message board and scroll down to the update dated 7/10/2016 it is in there. In red it says ‘four sources of evidence homework’ and you can click on that to download the sheet with all of the instructions.

Let me know if you have any problems,
      Miss Golland

Your mum has been emailed a copy of the St Sampson’s High letter. Let me know if you don’t get it. Good luck tomorrow- I hope you enjoy every minute 🙂

  9. Please could all year 6 parents check their child’s leavers hoodies to make sure they only have one, Erin’s was not on her PEH at the end of school today so may have been mixed up, hers was an age 12-13 and I think lots of others had the small adult

    • Hello Mrs Watterson,
I will check at school to see if it has been handed in. I am sure it will turn up. Clare
